JAMES PARKER
BACKGROUNDMacon Waves Head Coach, James Parker, graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. He has been ASCA (American Swim Coaches Association) certified at Level 3 which puts him among the top 10% of Age Group swim coaches in the country.
Coach Parker began his career in 1974 with the Lompoc Marlins Swim Team, Lompoc, California, where two of his swimmers set National Age Group records. He moved to Warner Robins, Georgia, in 1993 and was Head Coach of the the Warner Robins Aquanauts from 1995 to February 2007. During that time five of his swimmers achieved National Top 16 rankings and he led the team to over 50 Team Championship Titles, over 80 individual GRPA/USS State Titles and 4 GRPA State Records. He founded Premier Aquatic Club in March 2007 and merged with the Macon Waves Swim Team in November 2008.
