Congratulations to Hakeem Reid for qualifying for Age Group State and Sectionals! Hakeem will be swimming at GA Tech on Feb 24-26 as well as Greenville, SC March 15-18.

Please check the bulletin board at the pool for any upcoming swim meet information.

Starting January 1, every Friday is Bring a Friend to Practice Day. Please invite your children's friends to join us at practice.

Come by the pool and register your child!! We will be registering all season long from 5:30-7:00.

What We Do

Macon Waves Swim Team has been in existence since 1975. Since that time, our phiposophy has been to:

• Promote competitive swimming
• Provide the opportunity to learn and develop the basics of competitive swimming to one's fullest potential
• Teach good sportsmanship and teamwork
• Respect authority, play fair, and strive to improve
• Winning is not as important and striving to do one's best
• Teach the value of team loyalty and friendships
• Develop self-confidence, self-motivation, and self-discipline
• Encourage a lifelong habit of physical fitness
